About Us

Introducing Evelyn & Fredy Alonzo, your local husband and wife team turned into visionary business partners.

Evelyn was born & raised in Peekskill to Ecuadorian immigrants, attended Peekskill Schools, and pursued higher education at the University at Buffalo. She has over 10 years experience in marketing and sales in hospitality & real estate. 

Fredy was born in Guatemala but moved to Peekskill at a young age, attended Peekskill Schools, and opted for the real-world experience. He is a skilled mason & landscaper, and curve ball... he also managed to work as a laundry attendant at Cleaning X-Change. He has over 9 years experience in the laundromat/dry cleaning business and can fix almost any washing machine or dryer!

Combining our diverse experiences & entrepreneurial aspirations, we decided to embark on a new adventure together to open our very own laundry shop. We worked tirelessly, with BIG help from our loved ones & guidance from the former Owner of Cleaning X-Change in Shrub Oak, to bring our dreams to fruition, investing our time, energy, & resources in hopes of creating a reputable and thriving small business in our loving hometown: Peekskill, New York.

We love the idea of making life easy and enjoyable for our customers, so we've created a quick & conveniently located drop off shop in Westchester County. 

We can't wait to share our vision with everyone!

Introducing Noemi our expert laundry attendant. She has over 24 years laundry experience & recently,  ran Shrub Oak's Cleaning X-Change along side the owner for 12 years. She is truly AMAZING at what she does. 

We are so enthusiastic for having her on board with us and couldn't have asked for a better person to run our laundry shop. She brings much experience to the folding table, but most importantly she has a  genuine personality that will make you smile!
